Process Drying - Pharmaceuticals

Some pharmaceutical products are hygroscopic and have a water content related to the relative humidity of the surrounding air. In order to obtain high quality and durability of the product, the product must be produced and stored in low humidity conditions, often below 30 %RH.

Often the production rooms are also clean rooms, using high fresh air change and no recirculated air. The HBC dehumidifier is then connected normal AHU equipment as pre-cooler and/or post-cooler – or the HBC dehumidifier is supplied as a total system including the pre- and post-cooler.
The total system will control the relative humidity and the temperature in the production room.

Our CRP range is designed for process air drying. The CRP range match the bigger air flows needed, and the chosen high quality components makes it a very reliable installation to the profit of the user.
The dehumidifier cabinet is made of stainless steel, suitable for the pharmaceutical production.
The rotor used is silica gel and the process itself will perform a non bacteria dry air. At special needs we supply the dehumidifier with our patented hygienic rotor or the lithiumchlorid rotor.
The belt driven process air fan will be selected to give the external pressure needed for the total installation.
For the pharmaceutical production, the dehumidifiers are nomally using electric- or steam heater for the regeneration process.
Using silencers in the ducting, the CRP dehumidifiers gives the impression of a very silent machine.
